Being a mother, you live, breathe, and sacrifice for the well-being of your children. You are the biggest influence in a child's life of what they will become for all their days. Being a mum can bring a deep sense fulfillment despite all the ups and downs of your role in the family. All your sacrifices to your family means that you have little time for yourself. It's important for mums not to forget that she is still a woman and not just a nurturer, somebodies wife and manager of a household. So mums should take time out of their busy schedules to be the woman she needs to be.
Mum Quotes
"No language can express the power, and beauty, and heroism, and majesty of a mother’s love. It shrinks not where man cowers, and grows stronger where man faints, and over wastes of worldly fortunes sends the radiance of its quenchless fidelity like a star"
Edwin Hubbell Chapin
Perfect Mum
Your not perfect. Others may see you as perfect, you yourself know that you are not and it does not mean you are a failure. You may struggle time to time to be that " perfect mum" but hey that's ok not to be. But what you do deserve as a mum is appreciation and respect for what you do for the family. You may be fearful that your not good enough to bring up your children in a way that will cause them to face the world one their own with confidence and a knowing that mum did her best for you. Children never forget that tender nurturing only a mum can give and you should be honoured for that
Saying Sorry
You know what ! It's perfectly ok to admit to your children when you made a mistake. They will never judge you because they know you have good intentions at heart.
Crying is Good
Those times when it all becomes too much and you burst into tears for even the slightest thing. Well guess what, that's okay too, your tears are a way of showing how much you care. How much you need something in your family to change
Shout
Sometimes we need to shout to be heard. When your being taken for granted and no one is listening to you then it's okay to be angry and shout a little to make sure everyone listens to what you have to say
Be Yourself
So by now you know its okay to be imperfect, to cry, to shout, to be angry. To say sorry and to be yourself. Guess what your family still love you.
You Time
Amongst the mayhem, angst and expectations of you from the whole family. Don't forget that your still a woman and find the time for you to be a woman. Take up a hobby, gym and nights out with the girls. Be the woman you were before you had a family. Rediscover yourself and then being a mum will be a heck of a lot easier
